Last year, Worx launched a new 2000 PSI electric pressure washer. After extended use, here’s a long-term review based on regular, real-world tasks around the house.
Over the years we’ve tested many pressure washers—gas and electric, ranging in size and capability. The Worx 2000 PSI Electric Pressure Washer consistently performs near the top of that group. It has become one of the most-used outdoor power tools in our collection thanks to a combination of power, convenience, and thoughtful design.
Our photographer, Steve Makowski, recently moved to Portland and brought the Worx unit with him. In a climate where moss and debris build up quickly, he’s relied on this washer for cleaning a fence, siding, and driveway. The machine handles those recurring cleaning tasks with ease and helps keep exterior surfaces in good condition.

The Worx model delivers 2000 PSI and about 1.2 gallons per minute (gpm) of water flow, with a 1.4 gpm maximum. It includes a 0.5-gallon detergent reservoir for applying soap when needed. A 35-foot power cord provides generous reach around the property, and an integrated hose reel keeps the high-pressure hose tidy and easy to store between jobs.
Multiple nozzle options make the washer versatile. By swapping tips, Steve can move from gently washing his truck to tackling deeply embedded grime on a driveway without changing machines. The variety of spray patterns expands what this single unit can accomplish.

The turbo nozzle is ideal for the toughest jobs: removing compacted dirt from vehicle undercarriages, dirt bikes, mountain bikes, driveways, concrete steps, patios, and brickwork. Its concentrated, rotating spray delivers extra cleaning force for surfaces that require more aggressive treatment.
When it’s time to apply soap, the dedicated soap nozzle produces a wider, gentler stream that foams and clings to surfaces—useful for washing cars, bicycles, patio furniture, and other items that benefit from a soapy pre-wash before rinsing.
For delicate work such as cleaning windows, sliding door tracks, or screens, the 40° nozzle produces a broad, gentler spray that is safer when used from an appropriate distance. For general, everyday cleaning tasks, the 25° nozzle is the go-to choice: it balances reach and power for a wide range of surfaces.
