Take a Seat: Milwaukee Jobsite Work Box for Tradespeople

Milwaukee Tool expands its jobsite productivity lineup with the new 13″ Jobsite Work Box, a versatile storage solution designed for both transport and on-the-job use. With a 16″ seat height, the Work Box is ergonomically suited for tasks close to ground level—such as wiring outlets or working on breaker boxes—reducing strain during prolonged crouching or seated work.

Understanding that tradespeople spend long hours moving between tasks and often work from low positions, Milwaukee developed the 13″ Jobsite Work Box to be highly portable while offering the right height for seated tasks. The compact design makes it an ideal bucket for carrying tools and supplies, and its features are tailored to streamline jobsite workflows.

Durability is a primary focus: the Work Box is molded from a proprietary high-impact-resistant polymer and includes reinforced corners that withstand heavy use. Milwaukee rates the box to survive over 1,000 drops carrying a 25 lb load, and the Integrated Drip Ledge Lid protects tools from water, debris, and contamination—keeping contents clean and ready for use.

Beyond basic storage, the 13″ Jobsite Work Box adds organizational features that improve efficiency. It comes with a removable box divider, a floating tray, and a large-capacity interior for orderly tool storage. A unique vertical tool storage tray enables users to hang an entire tray of tools at their work area for quick, organized access. Additional practical details include a wide-grip locking handle for comfortable transport, indexing squares for secure stacking, and a cut groove in the lid for cutting small-diameter materials.

Built in the USA, the 13″ Jobsite Work Box (model 48-22-8010) is the second product in Milwaukee’s expanding storage line. The company plans continued development of storage solutions aimed at boosting productivity and delivering durable, jobsite-focused innovation. The 13″ Work Box was scheduled to be available through select retailers in August 2014 as part of Milwaukee’s commitment to providing practical, rugged tools and storage for professionals in the trades.
