John Deere Launches Virtual Lawnscape Community for Landscapers

Are you the kind of landscaper who doesn’t stop at a neat, mowed yard — the person who treats landscaping as an art? John Deere has created a new online community where landscapers like you can connect, share ideas, and learn from one another.

John Deere’s recently launched Lawnscaping page on Facebook is designed for people who “love the smell of fresh-cut grass and enjoy working on their lawns and gardens.” It’s a place to post photos, exchange tips, and interact with fellow enthusiasts who take pride in their outdoor spaces.

Members can upload photos of their projects, comment on others’ work, and stay informed about residential promotions offered through local John Deere dealerships. The page also features videos on pattern mowing that demonstrate techniques for creating crisp, professional-looking stripes and designs — helping you take your lawn from ordinary to “ballpark” quality.

The community includes a short quiz that helps you determine your lawnscaping style. Whether you’re a “Garden Guru,” a “Pattern Pro,” or another type, the quiz offers a fun way to identify your preferences and learn new ideas suited to your approach.

If you’re interested in joining the conversation, look for the “Love to Lawnscape” tab on John Deere’s Facebook page. Explore the resources, share your own photos and tips, and see what other homeowners and landscapers are doing to elevate their lawns. If you try the quiz, share your results and join the community discussion.
