This week Airstream unveiled the Pottery Barn Special Edition Travel Trailer: a 28-foot Airstream created in collaboration with Pottery Barn to deliver a fresh, elevated interior not typically seen in travel trailers.

After spending a few days in an Airstream Classic recently, we came away impressed by its roomy, comfortable interior and thoughtful appointments. The new Pottery Barn edition builds on that foundation and presents an even more welcoming environment. While Pottery Barn’s full aesthetic may not be everyone’s preference, this special edition has broad appeal and could signal more design collaborations from Airstream in the future.

According to Airstream, the Special Edition maintains the brand’s core amenities—a fully equipped onboard kitchen, a bathroom, and dedicated sleeping and lounging areas—while layering in Pottery Barn-inspired hardware, textiles, fixtures, and finishing touches that reinforce Airstream’s promise to deliver the comforts of home on the road.

The collaboration is most evident in the kitchen. Pottery Barn influenced the inclusion of a solid oak dinette table inspired by their Benchwright Dining Collection. Built from oak hardwood and finished with premium materials, the table is intended to be an heirloom-quality piece. The galley features additional Pottery Barn touches: a matte-black pull-down faucet, a stainless-steel flat apron sink, and a solid walnut cutting board that doubles as a sink cover—details that bring a timeless, residential feel to the space.

The bathroom similarly reflects Pottery Barn’s influence with a round vessel sink, matte-black faucet, and wall sconces that add warmth and character. Under-bed storage has been rethought with custom solutions that echo Pottery Barn’s organizational style, making it easier to stow essentials for the road.
Window shades use Emery Curtain fabric to introduce a soft, residential texture, while overhead lockers feature beadboard paneling inspired by Pottery Barn’s Aubrey furniture collection. Wall sconces and carefully chosen soft goods complete the interior palette, creating a cohesive, comfortable cabin ambiance.

Airstream and Pottery Barn introduced an exterior-first for the brand: an attachable outdoor hanging table that mounts to the trailer’s side, creating a convenient spot for outdoor meals and socializing. Pottery Barn also designed the trailer’s exterior awning and curated an accessory kit included with each unit. The kit features a 16-piece Mason Stoneware dinnerware set, an Indio outdoor folding table and armchair set, a branded doormat, and other curated items that enhance the outdoor living experience.
The Special Edition sleeps up to four people and offers twin or queen bed configurations. Each bed option comes with Pottery Barn Belgian flax linen bedding to ensure comfortable nights after active days outdoors.

The Airstream Pottery Barn Special Edition Travel Trailer carries an MSRP of $145,500 and is available through Airstream dealers nationwide.
