Dewalt 20V MAX Gains More Power with FLEXVOLT Advantage

DeWalt has introduced four new 20V MAX brushless cordless tools featuring FLEXVOLT ADVANTAGE technology.

FLEXVOLT ADVANTAGE enables these tools to detect the battery attached and automatically adjust power output, delivering increased performance when used with FLEXVOLT batteries while remaining compatible with standard 20V MAX batteries.

Previously, 20V MAX tools benefited from extended runtime when paired with a 60V FLEXVOLT battery but did not gain additional power. With FLEXVOLT ADVANTAGE, several new tools now increase both runtime and power when used with FLEXVOLT batteries.

FLEXVOLT ADVANTAGE Tools

• The 20V MAX* Brushless 7-1/4-In. Circular Saw with FLEXVOLT ADVANTAGE™ Technology (DCS573B) delivers up to 77% more power when paired with a FLEXVOLT® 6.0Ah battery (DCB606) (battery sold separately). It offers a no-load speed of 5,800 RPM for fast, precise cuts.
• The 20V MAX* Brushless Hammer Drill with FLEXVOLT ADVANTAGE™ Technology (DCD999B) provides up to 42% more power with a FLEXVOLT® 6.0Ah battery (DCB606) (battery sold separately). It produces more than 1,200 UWO, includes a three-mode LED light for better visibility, and features housing upgrades built for high-torque use.
• The 20V MAX* Brushless Reciprocating Saw with FLEXVOLT ADVANTAGE™ Technology (DCS386B) gains up to 50% more power when used with a FLEXVOLT® 6.0Ah battery (DCB606) (battery sold separately). It delivers over 1,400 UWO, a no-load speed of 3,000 SPM, and a 1-1/8″ stroke for efficient, aggressive cutting.
• The 20V MAX* Brushless 4-1/2-In.–5-In. Cordless Grinder with FLEXVOLT ADVANTAGE™ Technology (DCG416B) achieves up to 54% more power with a FLEXVOLT® 6.0Ah battery (DCB606) (battery sold separately). It provides over 1,400 UWO and includes safety features such as a KICKBACK BRAKE and the E-CLUTCH® system to protect the user.
