Last week we had the privilege of visiting John Deere. After taking a factory tour of their Horicon Works plant, we traveled to the Swan road testing facility where we evaluated more than 40 machines — including riding mowers, lawn tractors, and zero-turn models. Among the units we tested were John Deere’s newest offerings featuring four-wheel steering and diesel power.
At the Swan facility, John Deere arranged side-by-side comparisons with competing brands such as Craftsman, Cub Cadet, Husqvarna, and Simplicity. We’ll publish a follow-up article that dives into the differences between these models and how they performed against each other.
