Each model uses a 3.35-inch blade made from 420 stainless steel, offering a balance of corrosion resistance, edge retention, and ease of maintenance. The K-Series is intended for users who carry a folder as their primary implement but still want the convenience of additional integrated tools.
Design highlights include the same refined FREE-series haptics—each tool produces a satisfying click to confirm it is fully open—magnetic closures, premium aluminum handles, and eight additional tools housed inside the handle to extend the knife’s usefulness beyond cutting tasks.

The Leatherman FREE K-Series launched on Leatherman.com on October 10th. Suggested retail prices at launch were $79.95 for the K2 and K2X models and $89.95 for the K4 and K4X models.
