A few months ago we helped promote nominations for the Rescue Remodel program, a contest giving a charity the chance to receive a $25,000 kitchen makeover sponsored by IKEA and Family Handyman.
Organizers have now chosen five finalists. Each finalist represents an organization doing important work in their community, and while all are deserving, only one organization will ultimately receive the full renovation.
Voting is open at https://www.rescueremodel.com/ through March 30, 2013. The winning organization will receive a custom kitchen that includes cabinets, appliances, cookware, and food storage solutions — upgrades designed to improve efficiency and capacity so the group can better serve its community.
