When people ask where you spend most of your time, the garage rarely comes to mind — unless you’re a DIY enthusiast. I didn’t think of mine that way either, not until we installed custom storage units. It wasn’t just the functionality that drew me in; it was the color — a bright, cheerful yellow.
I’ve never been much of a color person. I tend to favor clean white walls because they feel calm and orderly, even if they can be impractical. So choosing a bold shade for the garage felt out of character. Still, I thought, “Why not try something different?”
That choice transformed the space. Thanks to Abet Laminati, our garage has become an inviting, multiuse room. On any given day you might find me — along with family members and sometimes guests — browsing the internet, making art, enjoying a drink, or reorganizing boxes in an area that used to store cat litter and recyclables. The bright, vibrant finish makes spending time there genuinely pleasant.
